Sun International is the largest Casino Hotel Group in South Africa with its flagship resort Sun City being at the forefront of resorts in Southern Africa.

 

My contract with Sun City was for 2 years and entailed the following:

 

1. The successful determining and intergration of staffing levels across the resort after the S189       process.

2. The successful LBS insourcing and staff training of all beverage (bars) facilities across the             resort.

3. The successful transformation of the food and beverage outlets in the Valley of Waves -               average of up to 3,500 meals a day.

4. The successful opening of several new restaurants across the resort, includsing staffing,               training etc.

5. The successful refurbishing and opening of the Bocado Restaurant at the Cascades Hotel.

6. The building of a strong food and beverage team across resort.

7. The assisting with redesigning and refurbishing of the staff feeding kitchen and facilities.

8. The upliftment of staff, service and quality standards.

9. In conjunction with the Managing Executive and Finance Executive drawing up of budgets and       startegic development for the Hotels and F&B across the resort.

10. In conjunction with teh HR Executive bring in line all productivity ratios within the resort food      and beverage areas.
